The Coln Valley herd of pedigree Beef Shorthorn cattle has completed its move to the rolling hills of central Perthshire from the Cotswold Hills in the South of England. The move has been stressful for the herd but now that, after considerable efforts by our team, with a new shed available and some fresh new grass appearing, the herd is starting to look well and happy again.
With around 50 breeding females we strive to produce high quality breeding stock for pedigree and commercial beef producers. We sell privately and at major pedigree sales.
Breeding stock is normally available and visitors are welcome by appointment.

Our other stock bull LS Zeus purchased last Summer from Lowther Estates after a successful show season is expecting his first calves this Autumn. He is an embryo bull who combines top American and Canadian genetics.
At our first show appearance this year, Coln Valley Bogart followed up his very successful junior bull career with the Champion Beef Shorthorn Bull trophy at the Alyth Show.
